Your Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic undergraduate student to join our Marketing team. We offer real-world experience, so no matter the size or spotlight of the project, your contributions will elevate our work—and the company.
In this role, you’ll:
- Support a new program. You’ll be key to Hudl’s new Athlete Creator program—an initiative designed to empower high school athletes as content creators and ambassadors for their sport.
- Liaise with high school students. You’ll help manage these relationships, assist in planning and producing content, and ensure deliverables are organized and on time.
- Collaborate. You’ll work closely with our Marketing and Brand teams to help athletes tell their stories in compelling, creative and authentic ways.
This role requires five days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our Lincoln, Nebraska headquarters.
Must-Haves
- A strong communicator. You’re comfortable talking with anyone and know how to keep multiple stakeholders in the loop.
- Organized. You can juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of inboxes and timelines.
- A people person. You’re energized by connecting with people and building rapport.
- Proactive. You’re self-motivated and work well independently. We’ll be here to support you, but you’ll own reaching out to stakeholders for the information needed to keep projects on track.
- Passionate. You’re excited to get into sports storytelling.
Nice-to-Haves
- Social media understanding. A strong sense of what makes content pop on platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube would be a plus. Bonus points if you have direct experience managing social media accounts or supporting brand campaigns.
- Video editing exposure. You have basic video editing experience with tools like Canva and CapCut.
- Hudl familiarity. You’re familiar with Hudl and our platform—maybe you even have a highlight video out there.
- Reporting familiarity. A solid understanding of using Google Sheets to analyze data, create reports and provide insightful visualizations would be an asset in this role.
- Data gathering know-how. You have a knack for conducting market research and competitor analysis to aid the strategic build of campaigns.
- Channel strategy insight. You possess a solid understanding of various marketing channels and can strategically identify and leverage the most effective ones to engage our target audience.
Our Role
- Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
- Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
