Summary

Support Per Scholas' National Admissions team in connecting qualified applicants to tuition-free technology training by managing applicant communications, data, and outreach nationwide. This role offers exposure to admissions processes across local and national teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with prospective learner interviews, admissions/enrollment events, and outreach to applicants while tracking and managing candidate data across Salesforce, HubSpot, and Form Assembly platforms. Support data management, resolve form errors, and cultivate professional communication channels with staff, candidates, and community stakeholders.
Skills & Tools: Excellent written communication, strong data management, problem-solving, and organizational skills combined with emotional intelligence and proficiency in Google Suite and new technologies. Must work well on teams and demonstrate persuasion and influencing abilities.
Qualifications: Must be a current college student receiving credit for the internship with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be a fast learner who is tech-savvy and able to navigate multiple platforms effectively.
Location: Remote, United States
Compensation: $2,000 – $4,000 for internship (3-month or 6-month terms)

Job Title: National Admissions Intern

Job Location: United States

Reports To: Director, National Admissions

Stipend: $2000 for 3 month internship, $4000 for 6 month

Per Scholas’ Admissions team is looking for an intern to support cultivating a pipeline of qualified applicants to help us unlock potential with our tuition-free technology training and professional development opportunities nationwide. In this role, you’ll be helping our team manage prospective applicant communication, data management, and digital outreach in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment to reach ambitious goals as we scale our training model and enter new markets. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist with prospective learner interviews
  • Assist with the planning of various Admissions/Enrollment events, such as Kick-Off/Orientation
  • Observe and shadow multiple members of the National Admissions team as well as the local Admissions teams
  • Outreach to applicants/learners, as well as track and provide outreach to internal referrals
  • Resolve form errors for learners in Hubspot and Form Assembly                  
  • Assist in candidate and learner data management working in our Salesforce, HubSpot, and Form Assembly platform, including auditing learner documentation, data entry (assessments, pre-work and interviews)
  • Cultivate professional and effective communication channels with Per Scholas staff, candidates, and key community stakeholders, fostering strong and lasting partnerships.
  • Regularly convene with key Recruitment and Admissions Team stakeholders to strategize and align on shared objectives.
  • Support content development for various ongoing Admissions projects
  • Additional tasks as needed   

Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong data management skills, problem-solving, and organization
  • Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion, and influencing skills; works well on a team
  • Functional expertise in navigating Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc)
  • Must be a fast learner who is savvy with new technologies and systems
  • Must be receiving college credit for the internship
