Location: This is a hybrid position based out of Austin, TX; Charlottesville, VA; or San Diego, CA, allowing for a flexible work schedule with on-site and remote opportunities.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $60,000 - $85,000.
Job Description:
Provide analytical, technical and administrative support for Educational Sales to assist with the successful management of the sales function. Serve as a resource regarding the mechanics of processing a sale, generating reports and analyzing sales data. Manages the team of Sales Admin. Function as a contributing member of the Sales Team through effective communication and assisting others as needed. Perform all duties of the job with a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, proactiveness, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Assist the VP Sales and Sales Directors as requested
- Manage team of Sales Admin (3 to 4 direct reports) and ensure they meet their KPIs as defined by Leadership and their respective Directors
- Act as a resource for sales staff, as well as to other departments and customers (Account Managers, Program Leaders etc.)
- Assist with sales database management, providing data and reports to assist directors in managing sales, including but not limited to:
- Weekly revenue report
- Return to Sales Report
- Transition Sales to AM report
- Engagement and Parent Meetings Claims
- Update intranet website
- Manage weekly forecast spreadsheet
- Administer the Back-to-Sales process and account distribution
- Database management for assigned leads
- Assigning & unassigning schools in CRM as instructed by Directors
- Sales meeting logistics: Scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, arranging meeting meals
- Take notes at weekly sales meeting and distribute meeting minutes
- Some internet research and adding new schools to database as needed.
- Adding schools as needed.

- Sales for Special Events
- Researching duplicate schools and block as necessary
- Verify through email or phone call
- Notation in our Database/sales system
- Annual review of active accounts (typically in the late spring)
- Review in our database

- Standard Department Member Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and/or perform training of staff members as requested. Update a training manual covering all functions of area of expertise.
- Foster communication within the department, with other departments and with management.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to serve as an effective staff member.
- Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Seek out and participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth.
- Identify and discuss personal and professional growth goals with the Sales Director and/or VP of Sales.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Sales / Customer Success (individual contributor and/or support)
- Previous experience in Management (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent analytical skills --Proven ability to quickly learn new software at an advanced level and create reports to help analyze information
- Strong interpersonal skills to assist with sales training and communication within the department and the company
- Ability to process paperwork, type and work effectively in an office environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and written
- Ability to visually proof documents
- High School Degree or equivalent. Four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent Computer Skills (Microsoft suite, Salesforce/CRM)
- This is a hybrid position based out of Austin, TX; Charlottesville, VA; or San Diego, CA.
