Position Purpose:

The Correlation Manager leads the development of standards correlations for all products, both core and supplemental. Under the Director of Metadata and Correlations, the Correlations Manager leads the ongoing collaboration between sales, marketing, the RFP team, editorial, and others as needed. The Correlations Manager oversees the work of Correlations Specialists and contributes to correlations and related metadata work as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team that will correlate teacher and student materials to national and state standards, including English Language Arts, Spanish Language Arts, English Language Development, Pre-K, and content standards (Science and Social Studies). 
  • Direct the outsourcing of larger or specialized jobs to correlation vendors.
  • Manage and prioritize correlation requests from different departments including sales, marketing, professional development, and others. 
  • Aid Sales Support and Customer Operations in the response to RFPs that require correlations. 
  • Support the larger Metadata and Correlations team as needed.

Job Requirements/Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in related field
  • 6+ years of educational publishing experience in a PreK-8 setting
  • 6+ years’ experience in correlating standards for state and district adoptions
  • Knowledge of the educational marketplace and demands for standards alignment
  • Expert knowledge of national and state standards
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills
  • History of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

*The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
