Key Responsibilities: Manage, gather, analyze, and report research data; develop and perform statistical analyses of fMRI data; oversee quality control of fMRI data; and collaborate with faculty on fMRI pipeline development, updates, and bug reporting.
Skills & Tools: Advanced statistical analysis and fMRI data processing expertise; proficiency with neuroimaging software and data management systems; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to document and communicate technical findings.
Qualifications: PhD in data science, statistics, neuroscience, or related field required. Prior experience with fMRI analysis, neuroimaging pipelines, and research data management preferred.

Compensation: $140Kβ$200K/yr (estimated)
Job Description
The Winston Center on Technology and Brain Development is seeking a part-time PhD level Data Scientist to assist with the Center's research enterprise. The Winston Center conducts research examining young people's engagement with digital technology, and how this engagement relates to their developing brain, socioemotional health, and psychological functioning. Amongst others, duties include: -Manage, gather, analyze, review and report information for specific research projects. -Develop and perform statistical analysis of fMRI data and assist other researchers with fMRI analyses. -Oversee quality control analyses of fMRI data -Work with faculty on fMRI pipeline and assist with updating pipeline and reporting bugs.
