Summary

A dual-role warehouse position responsible for coordinating receipt, storage, loading, unloading, and delivery of materials between Trafera facilities and customer locations, while also performing general warehouse operations when not serving as delivery driver.

Key Responsibilities: Execute daily pickups and deliveries to customer locations, load/unload trucks safely and accurately, drive company vehicles while maintaining traffic and safety compliance, perform warehouse activities including receiving, processing, shipping, and inventory cycle counts. Maintain stock levels and identify efficiency improvements.
Skills & Tools: Must obtain DOT certification and maintain a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving ability, and exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Qualifications: Minimum one year of related warehouse or delivery experience required, with experience loading/unloading and driving dock trucks (non-CDL). Forklift and material lift experience encouraged but not required.

Compensation: Estimated: $32,000 – $40,000/year based on warehouse associate role with backup delivery driver duties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate – Backup Delivery Driver will be responsible for coordinating and participating in the receipt, storage, loading and unloading, delivery and verification of materials from Trafera facilities to customer locations and one Trafera warehouse to another. In addition this person will work as a team with other Warehouse or Production team members to effectively and efficiently perform various duties as directed.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Daily pickups and deliveries to customer locations and to and from Trafera facilities
  • Loading and unloading truck accurately and safely
  • Driving company vehicle to make deliveries while obeying traffic laws and safety procedures
  • Occasional need to drive dock truck
  • Maintaining appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record
  • When not serving as the Delivery Driver, responsible for the following:
  1. Performing daily warehouse activities assigned by the Operations Leadership Team
  2. Effectively and efficiently work as a team member to achieve dependable and successful KPI’s while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and safety
  3. Accurately receive, process, and ship all orders including parts, technology devices, OEM warranty parts, per established procedures/standards and expectations
  4. Accurately process, pick, and deliver parts and finished products on time, supporting internal/external customer requirements
  5. Performing daily inventory cycle counts as assigned and promptly reporting any inaccuracies found.
  6. Maintaining stock levels of needed parts and materials to ensure internal and external customer orders are filled 
  7. Identifying areas of concern, means of improvement, and ways to increase efficiency; communicating them to Operations Leadership Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Able to be DOT certified
  • Able to receive and follow instructions as well as communicate with coworkers
  • Excellent cleanliness, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to support other areas when needed
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to represent Trafera at customer locations while providing exceptional Customer Service
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Observe and report any safety and security issues

Education and Experience:

  • At least one year of related work experience required
  • Experience loading, unloading, and driving dock truck (Non-CDL)
  • Forklift & material lift experience encouraged, but not required

Essential and Physical Requirements:

  • Active driver’s license
  • Prolonged periods of both sitting as well as standing, walking, and bending
  • Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds on occasion
