Location: Position is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $80,000 - $120,000.

Snapshot of the Role:
Lifecycle marketing is a key driver of MasterClass's ongoing success. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the user journey and make meaningful contributions across communication channels for our consumer audience. You'll join a team of talented, motivated marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Data, Engineering, and more.
What You Will Do:
- Design and execute programs and campaigns tailored to various customer cohorts to drive acquisition and engagement.
- Manage key lifecycle marketing functions, including the creative brief process, messaging/content direction, audience segmentation, product alignment, launch updates, quality assurance, data integrity checks, and stakeholder approvals.
- Analyze campaign performance end-to-end, using insights to inform next steps and future strategies.
- Share key updates, milestones, successes, and learnings from campaigns with leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Develop and oversee an experimentation strategy for acquisition and engagement, continually improving performance.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Data, Creative Operations, Legal, etc.) to ensure lifecycle communications are relevant, personalized, and on-brand.
About You (Requirements):
- 3+ years of lifecycle marketing or related experience.
- Hands-on experience with a major Email Service Provider (ESP); Iterable experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Familiarity with foundational technical tools/languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) used in lifecycle campaigns.
- Strong grasp of key marketing metrics and campaign analysis, with a record of ownership and delivery.
