Summary

The Registrar serves as the university's academic records officer and key leader within the Division of Student Affairs, reporting to the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management. This role oversees all aspects of student academic record-keeping systems and leads a customer-focused, detail-oriented staff.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the university's student academic record-keeping systems and ensure accurate maintenance of all academic records across multiple campuses. Lead and supervise the registrar's office staff while serving as a key leader within the Division of Student Affairs and broader university community.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and attention to detail capabilities with accuracy and results-oriented mindset. Excellent customer service orientation, leadership abilities, and proficiency with student information systems and academic records management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Typically 3-5 years of progressive experience in registrar operations, student records management, or higher education administration.
Location: Vallejo, California, USA (main campus); with responsibility for satellite campus in Los Angeles, California
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $65,000 – $85,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Touro University California (TUC) is pleased to announce a search for a new Registrar. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management and serving as a key leader within the Division of Student Affairs, the Touro University System, and the rest university community, the Registrar is the university's academic records officer and leads a customer-focused and detailed oriented staff who are responsible for all aspects of the university's student academic record-keeping systems. The successful candidate must be accurate, results-oriented, and very organized with a high attention to detail.

TUC is a private, graduate and undergraduate, degree awarding institution with a main campus located in the greater San Francisco Bay Area city of Vallejo, California and a satellite campus located Los Angeles, California. Established in 1997, TUC offers its 1,300 students an innovative education in one of several disciplines including osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, nursing, public health, radiologic technology, and diagnostic medical sonography.
