Summary

Shine Early Learning seeks a Partnership Development Specialist to expand its Public Systems network through sales and relationship-building with states, municipalities, and school districts. This temporary role focuses on building brand awareness, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting business development efforts in the early childhood education sector.

Key Responsibilities: Build brand awareness by representing Shine at events, identify new sales opportunities and cultivate partnerships, and lead or support RFP submissions, grants, and business development efforts. Manage relationships with executive leaders, subcontractors, and stakeholders while maintaining accurate CRM reporting in Hubspot.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with experience in business development or sales. Experience with grant writing, competitive proposals, and CRM software like Hubspot preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably in the public sector or early childhood education. Able to travel up to 50%.
Location: Remote from United States of America (up to 50% travel required)
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000/year

This role supports states, municipalities, and school districts with training, technical assistance, and quality improvement solutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify new sales opportunities and cultivate strong partnerships
  • Lead or support RFP submissions, grants, and business development efforts
  • Manage relationships with executive leaders, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Track opportunities and maintain accurate CRM reporting in Hubspot

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales (public sector/early childhood focus preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience with grant writing or competitive proposals a plus
  • Able to travel up to 50%

This is a temporary role through January 31, 2026, with the possibility to extend.
