Your Role

We’re looking for a Market Lead to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our competitive soccer market. You’ll work with the Sr. Director of Club to expand mature markets, develop less mature markets and identify new revenue streams. While this role does not manage any direct reports, it does influence the work of several teams across the company.

Your priorities will include:

  • Strategic execution. You’ll own our strategic roadmaps for soccer, generating buy-in from internal stakeholders to achieve goals across the business unit and company. You’ll collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align product, engineering and sales efforts with the strategic roadmap.
  • Operational management. You’ll drive revenue growth to meet or exceed targets and influence go-to-market strategies that enable the business unit to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Teamwork. You’ll support a team-first culture, which includes: respecting all points of view, valuing debate as a precursor to decision-making, holding others accountable, articulating a vision for future success, and bringing positive energy to your work.

Location

Our hope is to hire someone for this role who currently lives near our headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska, but we'd consider relocating the right person. We aren’t considering remote candidates for this position at this time.

Must-Haves

  • Soccer experience. You understand the soccer market more than a casual fan. You have either coached, played or worked at a soccer club or league. You have an understanding of our customers and/or sports technology market trends.
  • Financial metrics competence. You have a deep understanding of data such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), gross profit and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • A proven track record. You know which levers drive growth and have a track record of executing on those strategies to achieve results.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach. You know how to work well on a team, and can help focus stakeholders as you develop and execute strategic roadmaps.
  • Autonomous. Once you understand the objective, you’ll work towards the goal with confidence in your approach and limited supervision.
  • A change agent. After committing to a project or initiative, you’ll work tirelessly to bring about the change you envision.
  • Willingness to travel. This role would benefit from someone who has the flexibility to hit the road occasionally and be on-site with users.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep expertise in SaaS. If you’ve worked 5+ years at a software company, that’s a major plus.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medicalinsurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
