Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced curriculum designer with strong knowledge of higher education accreditation standards to lead the development of a Woolf University-accredited master’s level program using Udacity’s existing catalog. This role requires instructional design expertise, experience with graduate-level academic programs, and an understanding of how to integrate applied learning with academic rigor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Mapping and Program Design
- Analyze Udacity’s catalog of Nanodegree programs and identify content that aligns with Woolf University's master’s-level requirements.
- Design a modular master’s curriculum using Udacity content and map it to Woolf University's course workload requirements and outcomes.
- Create a full curriculum plan including titles, modules, ECTS credit equivalencies, and content workload alignment.
2. Academic Content Development
- Where Udacity content does not meet Woolf University's required hours or academic depth, develop supplemental academic exercises (e.g., research reviews, discussion prompts, academic reading guides).
- Create activities where students critically engage with scholarly research, synthesize findings, and answer reflective or analytical questions.
3. Capstone Project Design
- Design a 750-hour capstone experience that meets master's-level academic standards.
- Integrate and scaffold existing Udacity project work into a cohesive portfolio-based capstone, adding summative components such as research papers, presentations, or peer review.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in curriculum design for accredited graduate-level programs (preferably in computer science, AI, data science, or a related field).
- Familiarity with ECTS credit system and/or Woolf University's academic requirements is a plus.
- Strong background in instructional design, educational research, or pedagogy.
- Ability to critically analyze technical content and supplement it with academically rigorous activities.
- Excellent written communication and project management skills.
- Comfortable working independently with distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with asynchronous, project-based, or competency-based learning models.
- Background in instructional design for technical or STEM subjects.
- Familiarity with Udacity's catalog or similar tech education platforms.
- Experience designing or evaluating academic capstone or thesis projects.
