Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana, HubSpot, Zoom, and spreadsheets is required, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field with minimum 2 years of experience in business coordination, project coordination, or administrative support. Experience in edtech, sales operations, or school environments is preferred, and startup experience is a plus.

Position Overview

MarcoPolo Learning is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Business Coordinator to support post-sales coordination and operational execution. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support across sales, strategy, and business development, ensuring key initiatives progress smoothly.

You’ll work cross-functionally to keep projects on track and aligned with business goals. This position is especially well-suited for individuals with experience in team support or project coordination, particularly within edtech, sales operations, or school environments. Former educators or those looking to transition from education to edtech are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales, strategy, and business development initiatives, including post-sales call follow-ups and internal coordination
  • Liaise with department heads to track progress, escalate blockers, and ensure alignment across teams. Ensure timely execution of key deliverables.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments and attend key meetings to support project execution
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of sales decks, pitch materials, and internal documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and senior leadership team
  • Offer ad hoc organizational support to other teams, including Marketing and Operations, as needed

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related area is preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business coordination, project coordination, or administrative support
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate confidently with senior leadership
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, Asana, HubSpot, and spreadsheets is required.
  • Occasional Travel is required.

Salary: Total compensation of $55,000–$65,000, plus stock options, and full benefits.

Please note: This position is open only to candidates based in Tampa, Florida, or within a one-hour commuting distance. Due to the hybrid nature of the role, applicants must be available to work from the office 1–2 days per week. Applications from outside the region will not be considered.
