Summary

Marketing Associate role at Parallel driving marketing initiatives across multiple channels with a focus on events, content creation, and social media. Reports to Associate Director of Marketing and plays a key role in amplifying the company's voice in the special education sector.

Key Responsibilities: Create engaging content for events, webinars, and email marketing while managing social media calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Oversee logistical coordination of webinars, maintain marketing calendars, collaborate with clinical and sales teams on strategies, and support the creation of sales enablement materials.
Skills & Tools: Strong writing and content creation abilities across multiple platforms, proficiency in project management and deadline-driven execution, and expertise in social media strategy and email marketing. Desirable skills include CRM management (HubSpot/Salesforce), virtual webinar platform experience, data analysis, and Canva design proficiency.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of marketing experience with demonstrated lead generation and event strategy expertise, plus genuine interest in special education impact. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Location: Fully remote, United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $48,000 – $62,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Marketing Associate

About this role:

We are looking for a Marketing Associate to drive our marketing initiatives and amplify our voice across various channels. In this role, you’ll create compelling content for events, webinars, and email marketing while managing social media and collaborating with our marketing, clinical, and sales teams. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, you’ll help oversee our marketing calendar, ensure deadlines are met, and collaborate on strategies to enhance visibility and engagement

We’re looking for a highly organized Marketing Associate who is passionate about events and content and eager to make a meaningful impact within a small, dynamic marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop engaging event materials and promotions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create impactful webinar content.
  • Support the logistical setup of webinars, including coordinating with speakers and graphic designers for event collateral.
  • Work with designers to produce eye-catching imagery for newsletters.
  • Maintain and support the email marketing calendar and oversee logistical aspects.
  • Collaborate with an SEO contractor to enhance content visibility.
  • Help develop and support a social media calendar, overseeing organic content on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Help monitor performance metrics and help brainstorm strategies to maximize engagement.
  • Assist in creating sales enablement materials in partnership with the marketing, clinical, and sales teams.

What You’ll Need:

  • At least 2 years of marketing experience with lead generation, and event strategy.
  • A genuine interest in special education and its potential for impact.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing strategies that drive growth. 
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content regularly across multiple platforms, marketing emails, social media, sales enablement materials, etc.

Nice to have:

  • Background or familiarity with special education is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM management, specifically with HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Experience managing virtual webinars on platforms such as Zoom or similar.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and enhance sales performance
  • Ability to design engaging visuals using Canva.
