Summary

Senior Internal Communications Manager at Clever Inc. to drive strategic communication initiatives across the organization, empower employees, and facilitate alignment around company objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute communication initiatives around strategic objectives and company results; manage company-wide meetings including all-hands and quarterly Q&As; partner with the Brand and executive teams to drive communication strategies; support executives on key communication moments and media briefings. Proactively identify opportunities to improve internal and leadership communication efforts across the organization.
Skills & Tools: Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with journalistic capability; strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously; exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder relationship-building skills; creative and data-driven approach to communications with ability to translate complex ideas into digestible messages.
Qualifications: 5+ years of proven internal communications experience, preferably in technology, SaaS, or enterprise environments. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Compensation: $129,300 – $152,100/year (base salary for US locations outside NYC and San Francisco); $142,200 – $167,300/year (base salary for San Francisco and NYC)

Job Description

Clever is looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our Brand Team. Our team is passionate about delivering ideas, stories, and visuals that make Clever memorable and relevant. Now, we are looking for an experienced internal communication professional to facilitate communication across the company and empower Cleverites to deliver on our mission.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Drive communication initiatives, including content development, within the organization around our company strategic objectives, operating plans and results that allow us to deliver on our mission
  • Manage agendas and content for company-wide meetings, including bi-monthly all-hands, quarterly Q&As, and annual in-person gatherings
  • Partner closely with our Head of Brand Marketing and executive team to drive and execute effective communication strategies 
  • Support the CEO, and other executives on key communication moments (external speaking events, interviews, press/media briefings etc)
  • Develop a framework for measuring and improving internal communications effectiveness, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and scale internal and leadership communication efforts across the organization

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years of proven internal communications experience, preferred, preferably in technology, SaaS, or enterprise environment
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills with a journalistic ability to tell inspiring stories that inspire a shared purpose 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional partners across varying level 
  • A creative and measurable approach to storytelling and communicating; an ability to take complex ideas or strategies and deliver them in a digestible way

SALARY TRANSPARENCY:

The range of our base salary cash compensation for this role for candidates living in the United States, besides NYC and San Francisco, CA, is between $129,300 - $152,100. For candidates living in NYC and San Francisco, CA is between $142,200 - $167,300. All final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise.
