We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join the Figma Brand Studio. In this role, you’ll shape how our product is seen and understood through compelling visual storytelling. You’ll create and maintain a library of compelling product imagery that supports teams across Figma to help tell engaging, consistent product stories. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of brand and product design, perfect for a designer who’s equal parts craft-driven and systems-minded.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Design, curate, and maintain a library of product imagery that reflects the latest product features and brand standards
- Partner with Growth, Comms, Sales, and other teams to ensure product visuals are consistent, compelling, and easy to use across campaigns and surfaces
- Concept and design visuals that translate product functionality into clear, resonant stories for a wide range of audiences
- Collaborate with product designers, marketers, and writers to align product visuals with broader brand narratives
- Build scalable systems and guidelines for how product stories are visualized across the org
- Continuously evolve our approach to product storytelling, balancing craft, clarity, and innovation
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A portfolio that showcases strong product and brand design work, with clear examples of product storytelling
- Experience creating product imagery, demos, or visuals that explain complex features in simple, engaging ways
- A strong eye for detail, consistency, and craft across design systems and visual assets
- The ability to think both conceptually and systematically, translating abstract ideas into scalable design resources
- Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (experience with prototyping or motion tools a plus)
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively, managing projects from concept through delivery
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale design libraries or systems
- Skills in motion design or animation to prototype product stories
- Familiarity with storytelling in interactive contexts (web, product surfaces, microsites, etc.)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in marketing, growth, or product design
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
