Job Description
Pansophic Learning is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting team, with a focus on revenue management and international group oversight. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-changing environment and wants to help build a leading global education company.
This is an in office position in McLean, Virginia.
About the Opportunity
- Maintain and review the general ledger, including journal entries and trial balance oversight
- Perform variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial analysis and provide recommendations on balance sheet and income statement performance
- Manage billing processes for online school customers and maintain customer relationships
- Perform complex accounting initiatives across finance and other departments
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations
- Support NetSuite migration for Corporate Accounting
- Opportunities for management of staff
About You
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred)
