Role Snapshot

Senior Training Developer at Leidos supporting the U.S. Space Force and Air Force by designing and delivering blended-learning solutions for mission-critical satellite communications systems. This role enhances cybersecurity resilience through expert instructional design and hands-on technical training delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and implement blended-learning solutions (classroom, CBT/WBT, instructional technologies) for complex multi-node software systems; develop certifiable training programs, instructional content, and job aids while partnering with subject-matter experts and instructors to maintain operational training environments.

Skills & Tools: Expertise in instructional systems design, curriculum development, adult learning principles, and technology-based training delivery; strong ability to translate complex technical documentation into effective training content and collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, developers, and technical staff.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, or related field plus 12+ years training experience (or equivalent); minimum 7 years platform delivery design for technology systems and 3+ recent years delivering hands-on technical classroom instruction.

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama

Compensation: Estimated: $95,000 – $135,000/year based on senior-level training development role, 12+ years experience requirement, defense contractor (Leidos), and Huntsville, Alabama location with national security focus.
