Summary

Billing Analyst role at Huron responsible for executing client billing, managing billing processes, and ensuring customer requests are completed efficiently. Position supports Huron's corporate operations and enables business transformation through accurate financial management.

Key Responsibilities: Execute client billing and customer service requests, manage billing processes and schedules, train employees on billing systems, maintain invoice retention and compliance, and prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel and Word), strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and multitask while meeting deadlines, and organized approach to managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of billing experience, knowledge of Workday financial systems, and experience in professional services industry.
Location: Chicago, Illinois (550 Van Buren); Remote opportunity available
Compensation: $45,000 – $60,000/year (base salary); $49,500 – $66,000/year (inclusive of annual incentive compensation)

Position Summary

The Huron Billing Analyst has the primary responsibility of executing Huron client billing and ensuring all customer requests are answered/completed. Supplementary responsibilities include creating/updating billing schedules and miscellaneous support on an as needed basis. Includes minor monthly and ad hoc reporting responsibilities. This position reports to the Corporate Billing/Revenue Manager.

•  Assist in client billing customer service

•  Manage billing processes for Huron

•  Train Huron employees on billing processes and system usage

•  Manage invoice retention and compliance for Huron 

•  Ad hoc reporting

Candidate Requirements:

Required:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related work experience

•  Excellent PC skills, including proficiency in MS-Office (Excel & Word)

•  Strong problem solving skills

•  Well organized with ability to work independently

•  Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation)

•  Able to meet deadlines and multitask

Preferred:

•  1 to 3 years billing related experience

•  Knowledge of Workday financial systems

•  Client billing experience

•  Experience in professional services industry

The estimated base salary range for this job is $45,000 - $60,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $49,500 - $66,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
