As an animator you will ensure that our animated content is of high quality and developed with the end-user experience in mind. Your objective should be to ensure that all our awareness training is interesting, fun, enjoyable and award winning. Create 2- and 3-dimensional animation to help enhance the current interactive training modules into world-class, dynamic e-learning material. It is important to provide fresh ideas with original solutions through video and animation. The creative process at different stages may include interpreting scripts, conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, character development, editing, and designing.
Duties:
- Able to work remotely as part of a team to create high quality video assets for use in eLearning modules.
- Responsible for staying up-to-date on latest technology and making recommendations on programs and plug-ins
- Create multimedia assets for e-Learning modules from scratch
- Works with storyboards, Q/A comments, and leadership feedback to incorporate edits into the final product
- Develop graphics to use in animations
- Edit video and existing animations
- Perform sound mixing and synchronization
- Collaborate effectively with a creative team
- Is engaged in a variety of animation types such as 2-D animation, motion graphics creation and video editing for use in a variety of formats (modules, games, simulations, live action and more).
- Work within deadlines
- Effects sequencing
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.A., BFA or comparable work/life experience
- Proficient with Toon Boom (required), Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, programs
- Experience in creating interactive designs for mobile applications
- Experience in creating character animations and editing illustrated animations
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Interest in game design a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management and organization skills
