Role Snapshot

Order Management Specialist at Lucid Software supports the Revenue Operations team by processing customer orders and managing the complete order-to-cash cycle. The role ensures compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement while partnering with sales, operations, and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities: Process order requests of varying complexity in CRM and billing systems, ensure compliance with sales policies, and maintain accuracy in bookings, licensing, and invoicing. Drive process improvements to enhance sales rep experience and reduce processing time while providing expert guidance on licensing models and contract structures.
Skills & Tools: High attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in CRM and order management systems. Demonstrated problem-solving capability, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and passion for cross-functional process improvement.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in deal desk, accounts receivable, order management, business operations, or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred; hands-on experience with Salesforce or billing systems a plus.

Compensation: $35K–$48K/yr (estimated)

We are looking for someone to join our Revenue Operations team as part of Order Management. As part of this team, you will work with senior management to ensure that both customers and sales representatives are supported through Lucid’s sales process. Responsibilities

  • Work directly with sales reps to process order requests of varying size and complexity in our CRM and billing systems
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of bookings, license provisioning, and customer invoicing
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of licensing models and recommend contract structures based on client use cases
  • Be an advocate and partner to internal organizations by understanding the complex needs of the sales and Revenue Operations organizations
  • Drive process improvements to current order process to improve sales rep experience as well as reduce overall processing time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and a drive to achieve high accuracy rates
  • Ability to understand and follow complex processes
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to evolving processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with sales, operations, customer success, and accounting teams
  • Passion for working cross-departmentally with internal customers and stakeholders on complex business processes and projects 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve shared team objectives
  • Innovative, highly motivated, and success driven approach to work activities
  • Excellent work ethic and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in deal desk, accounts receivable, order management, business operations, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or similar field 
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Experience working in a billing, invoicing, or order management system
