Summary

Entry-level sales representative responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads for KnowBe4's security awareness training platform, feeding qualified opportunities to account executives.

Key Responsibilities: Cold outreach via phone and email to prospects, qualification of interested leads, and handoff of qualified prospects to assigned Territory/Account Executives.
Skills & Tools: Excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office, and CRM tools; strong phone presence and ability to maintain persistence through multiple contact attempts.
Qualifications: Familiarity with IT security concepts preferred; experience with standard office productivity and sales tools required; must be highly organized, results-oriented, and possess strong computer skills.
Location: Hybrid - Clearwater, Florida, United States (greater Tampa Bay area)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $28,000 – $38,000/year based on entry-level sales representative position, company size, and location.

The Entry Level Sales Representative is responsible for reaching out to prospects, qualifying them and passing interested prospects to their assigned Territory/Account Executive(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out via phone and/or email to cold prospects and get them interested in a KnowBe4 product
  • Gauge the interest of prospects to qualify them as potential customers
  • Pass the qualified and interested prospects to their assigned Territory/Account Executive(s) 

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field a plus
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Experience with a CRM or other Sales Tools a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Good computer skills
  • Friendly phone voice
  • “Pleasantly persistent” as it can take multiple tries to reach a prospect
  • Ability to leave a message and sound interested
  • Must be highly organized and results-oriented
