Compensation: $60300 - $90500 / Annually

Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develops and updates policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external laws and regulations.
- Investigates complaints or allegations of non-compliance, suggesting steps to address and prevent future violations.
- Prepares annual and ad hoc reports to maintain programmatic authorization including completing documentation to obtain approval by states’ programmatic approving agencies (e.g., boards, departments, commissions).
- Evaluates planned or implemented changes in the standards and requirements of local, state, regional, and/or national approval agencies.
- Works with internal stakeholders to obtain, compile, and maintain data required to complete external reports.
- Assists in preparing and completing self-study reports for programmatic and state accreditation and approval processes.
- Produces high-quality work on short deadlines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of authorization, accreditation, and professional licensure in higher education.
- Technological competence with MS Office Suite, Salesforce and Smartsheet.
- Interpersonal relationship skills (social-emotional intelligence) of confidence, focus, ethics, and accountability as demonstrated by checks with multiple layers of references.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex analyses and discussions into written documentation.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt priorities in response to shifting tasks and emerging projects.
- Strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Sensitivity to and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university or equivalent
- Five (5) years of related experience in higher education compliance, accreditation, or quality assurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in a writing-intensive field (e.g., communication, English, history) from an accredited college/university
- Knowledge of programmatic approval procedures in four or more jurisdictions
- Prior training as a quality examiner (Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award preferred)
- Bi-lingual (writing and speaking)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Position & Application Details
