Do you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and keeping processes running smoothly? Are you organized, responsive, and discreet? If so, you may be Booster’s next HR Specialist for our Gear & Goods division!

In this role, you will be the face of HR support for Gear & Goods, partnering with our HR Generalist to make sure team members have an incredible experience. You’ll assist with hiring, onboarding, compensation changes, benefits questions, staffing reports, celebrations, and more — helping ensure every team member gets the support they need.

How You’ll Impact Booster’s Mission:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support — Help bring great people to Booster Gear & Goods by assisting with job postings, screening calls, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a welcoming onboarding experience through paperwork, orientation, and system setup.
  • Team Member Support & Engagement— Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for HR-related questions, including pay, benefits, 401(k), DailyPay, and other team member needs. You’ll also assist with team engagement and celebration initiatives.
  • Training & Performance Process Coordination — Manage and track team member training completion, ensuring all required training is completed on time. You’ll also support the performance evaluation process, working with managers to ensure reviews are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Systems & Technology Setup Support — Help team members set up and navigate essential systems (such as HR platforms, benefits portals, and DailyPay accounts), and provide basic troubleshooting and guidance to ensure a smooth experience.
  • HR Systems & Data Management— Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in our HR Information System (HRIS), generate staffing and headcount reports, and ensure training, performance, and compliance records are properly documented and organized.
  • Benefits, Compensation & Compliance Support — Support benefit enrollment, compensation changes, and promotions, and help team members navigate their benefits and payroll questions. Ensure compliance by maintaining proper documentation and confidential records.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • A heart for service and a commitment to ensuring team members feel cared for and equipped to succeed
  • Strong organizational skills — you love keeping details in order and processes moving smoothly
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — approachable, professional, and positive
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • A responsive and proactive work style, able to prioritize and follow up on urgent needs quickly
  • Preferred: Previous experience in HR, office administration, or a related field — but most importantly, a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Required: Bilingual in English/Spanish to best support all team members

Our Work Environment Includes:

  • Technology: A MacBook for your time at Booster & a monthly phone allowance
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, plus 401k matching
  • Paid Time Off: PTO, 15+ observed holidays & business closed days, and paid parental leave

Compensation: $18-$22 / hour
