Summary
On-site Supervisor for Clinical Operations at Western Governors University responsible for overseeing clinical sites and managing clinical faculty to ensure optimal nursing student clinical practice experiences in the Kansas City region.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical sites, supervise and evaluate clinical faculty, coordinate clinical experiences and scheduling, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support student success through direct interaction and progression monitoring.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to evaluate and adapt teaching methods; knowledge of clinical compliance requirements and nursing education standards.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing, one year of teaching experience in pre-licensure nursing, current RN license in the state of instruction, and preferred Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) certification.
Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST with flexibility to travel to partner clinics and hospitals, including occasional weekend coverage.
Compensation: $75,900 – $125,300/year
