Summary

Senior Cybersecurity Threat Analyst at KnowBe4, a global leader in Human Risk Management, responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats targeting the organization and its customers. This role combines threat intelligence with advanced technical analysis to defend against emerging AI-powered and human-centric security threats.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze and investigate cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents affecting KnowBe4's systems and customer environments. Monitor threat landscapes, develop threat intelligence reports, and provide recommendations to strengthen security posture against sophisticated attacks including deepfakes and AI-powered threats.
Skills & Tools: Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity threat analysis, malware analysis, and incident response; proficiency with security tools and threat intelligence platforms; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills for translating technical findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications: 5+ years of cybersecurity threat analysis, incident response, or related experience; bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications such as CEH, GIAC, or CISSP preferred.
Location: Cheltenham, United Kingdom
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is £55,000 – £75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

The Cybersecurity Threat Analyst works in the KnowBe4 Threat Research Lab, and is responsible for creating solutions and models to detect threats in KnowBe4’s target markets and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes threat data and implements technical solutions
  • Innovate and create extensions to detection paradigms in end to end fashion
  • Perform novel algorithm and modeling creation to new challenges and business objectives
  • Assist other team members by providing technical direction
  • Recommends solutions to threat lab objectives
  • Provides coordination across functional boundaries
  • May act as team lead for sub-projects

Requirements:

  • BS or equivalent plus 5 years experience
  • MS or equivalent plus 4 years experience
