What You’ll Do
As an on-site school-based therapist, you will:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to K–12 students.
- Collaborate with school staff, counselors, and community partners.
- Build trusted relationships with students and their families.
- Provide psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
- Participate in case consultations and clinical team meetings.
- Contribute feedback to strengthen Daybreak’s clinical programs.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Active California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or associate-level license (ASW, AMFT, APCC)
- Spanish fluency required
- Experience working with school-aged children or adolescents
- Technological proficiency and comfort with EHR platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Availability during key school hours (typically Mon–Fri, 3–8 PM PT)
Preferred:
- Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar evidence-based practices
- Background in school-based or youth-centered environments
- Active NPI and CAQH profile
