Provide expert-level administrative and technical support in Workday Learning on behalf of Nelnet Diversified Services (NDS) Training and Development for system access requests, internal customer billing reporting, and course administration in Nelnet’s Learning Management System (LMS), Workday Learning. An individual working in this role will have a direct impact on ensuring that training data integrity is maintained.

We offer a dynamic hybrid work model that provides the flexibility you need while maintaining meaningful in-person collaboration. Associates are expected to be in the office 3 days per week, allowing for a balance of remote and on-site work. The pay rate for this position is $52,000 to $62,000 annually.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.   Provide expert level administrative and technical support for training courses and programs within Workday Learning, including creating lessons, digital and blended courses, and programs; maintaining and uploading content; scheduling and maintaining learning campaigns, campaign audiences, and notifications; and adding or removing associates from audiences. 

2.   Design, maintain, monitor, and participate in routine quality checks and reviews of data, campaigns, audiences, reports, etc. within Workday Learning for quality issues.

3.   Analyze and understand new feature releases in Workday Learning to determine the impact changes will have on NDS Training and Development team member and our business partners. 

4.   Be accountable for running and managing test scenarios related to Workday Learning system updates, upgrades, and enhancements. Research, resolve, and/or escalate system issues to the appropriate groups when needed. 

5.   Understand Workday Learning end to end processes and be accountable for ensuring the integrity of the Workday Learning system and establishing best practice procedures are followed.

6.   Monitor and provide on-the-job training, coaching, and support related to training support and analytical tasks and procedures. 

7.   Monitor and provide oversight of the submission of new hire and internal transfer tickets using the Nelnet Service Portal to ensure associates receive necessary equipment and system access.

8.   Create, maintain, and analyze reports for NDS Training and Development customer billing to ensure accuracy and integrity of data submitted to business leaders and NDS Finance.

9.   Create, schedule, and maintain reports regarding compliance and operational training outcomes for business partners, compliance committees, and other internal and external auditors (e.g., Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, FSA, lenders, etc.).

10.   Analyze available data for trends, correlations, and other key characteristics, and report findings. Investigate, resolve, and/or report any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies.

11.   Based on analysis, recommend sound, logical solutions, including but not limited to, process improvements, communication strategies, documentation updates, etc. related to the administration and support of training functions.

12.   Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Utilize Power Automate to design advanced workflows and Power BI to create dashboards and analyze data from different data sources.

13.   Lead projects and provides expert level training support and analytics.

14.   Respond promptly, professionally, and accurately to internal customer inquiries while serving as a consultant and expert regarding training administration and support. Escalates issues appropriately, when and if needed.

15.   Seek opportunities for professional growth and development. Work with increasing independence, demonstrating the capacity to make sound decisions and take initiative as you advance in your role.

16.   Maintain high dependability standards through advanced planning, communication of time-off needs, and working additional hours when needed.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or appropriate work experience

EXPERIENCE

•   5 or more years in an administrative or technical support position

•   Expert level use of Workday Learning required
