Collaborate with managers and internal partners on strategy development, support marketing activities, and achieve predetermined territory goals with up to 50% travel during peak seasons.
Skills & Tools: Strong sales techniques, public speaking, and proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM and Microsoft applications are required. Ability to demonstrate and sell online digital literacy products with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3+ years of successful K-12 sales experience, preferably in literacy curriculum and educational technology. Prior experience selling to school and district-level literacy curriculum decision-makers is preferred.

Account Executive – Field (Pennsylvania)

Location: Must reside in Pennsylvania (Remote)

Reporting into our Sr. Regional Sales Manager, the Account Executive - Field (Pennsylvania) is responsible for supporting our incredible mission by achieving assigned revenue targets within their designated territory (Pennsylvania). They will participate in developing marketing and sales campaigns to meet and/or exceed expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use sales techniques to develop and otherwise pursue new and expansion sales opportunities in the territory through phone calls, in-person presentations, web-based demonstrations, and email campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasting, sales pipeline, customer database records.
  • Provide sales quotes and proposals to customers.
  • Bring and maintain industry knowledge.
  • Improve selling skills and product knowledge by attending all sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Use Salesforce.com CRM and other data management tools to keep track of all active opportunities. Update daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Collaborate with manager and other internal partners to build strategy for goal achievement and territory management.
  • Contribute as teammate and peer to other Account Executive - Field roles in the region.
  • Support product marketing activities to help generate leads and opportunities.
  • Attend regional conferences as agreed upon with your manager.
  • Attend national conferences that may occur in the territory.
  • Consistently achieve predetermined territory goals.
  • Demonstrate professionalism across various work environments.
  • Be able to travel up to 50% of the time during peak selling season.
  • Be informed of funding opportunities in assigned territory and keep districts and management updated on critical deadlines.
  • Deliver complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. An education or related background is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of success in K-12 sales; demonstrated success in both literacy curriculum and educational technology sales preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate and sell an online, digital literacy product/solution.
  • Experience in public speaking with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using database management systems. Salesforce.com preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using online meeting technology.
  • Skilled at generating new business prospects and markets.
  • Valid driver’s license, a good driving record. Prior experience selling to school- and district-level literacy curriculum decision-makers and influencers in the elementary K12 market.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com for forecasting and tracking opportunities.
  • Possess state and district level ELA and/or Technology contacts in territory.
  • Knowledge of online curriculum products and services.
