Summary

Professional Services Engineer at KnowBe4 supporting the global leader in Human Risk Management. This role involves delivering technical solutions and professional services to help organizations secure their employees and AI agents against cyberthreats.

Skills & Tools: Fluent German language skills (required for Berlin location); strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity and security awareness training platforms; excellent client-facing communication and problem-solving abilities; ability to work with diverse client environments and requirements.
Qualifications: Typically requires 3-5 years of professional services, implementation, or technical support experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Location: Berlin, Germany
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is €55,000 – €75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

The Professional Services Engineer is a key technical resource supporting post-sales activities and customer success. This role combines product expertise with strong customer relationship skills to ensure successful implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of product deployments. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the product portfolio, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work closely with customers to maximize the value of their purchased solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and security awareness practices.
  • Implement and configure products for small to mid-sized business customers post-purchase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Record and track customer deployment activities.
  • Support Snr. Professional Services colleagues and mentor junior team members as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote security awareness practices
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure customers receive value from their purchased solution(s).
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve the majority of technical issues, seeking assistance from senior colleagues for more complex problems.
  • Complete all policy requests received from customers or when supporting other team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar or related position
  • Two-year degree preferred
  • Familiarity with firewall and email protocols is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Highly organized and result-oriented
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability
  • Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect and commitment
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
