Summary

Qualifications: 5+ years of product management or similar experience with increasing scope and ownership; demonstrated experience owning product strategy and delivering measurable business impact; experience with Agile/SCRUM development, curriculum design for K-8 grades, and leading cross-functional teams; legal right to work in the UK.
Location: Bath, UK (hybrid/remote)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is £75,000 – £105,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our team. At Discovery Education, we inspire learning—and the product team is committed to making a measurable difference for educators and students at scale. Product management is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving the most impactful opportunities that accelerate customer value and business growth. Our product teams are organized to enable Agile development: cross-functional teams form around objectives and measurable key results, collaborating to determine the most critical problems to solve and the strategies that will drive the greatest outcomes. In this role, you will be accountable not only for backlog execution, but for shaping strategy, ensuring product viability, and delivering measurable impact across a portfolio of initiatives.
In This Role You Will:Product strategy & outcomes

Own and drive the product strategy, road map, and backlog for DreamBox Math’s student experience
Define and articulate a clear student experience vision tied to company strategy, product vision, and measurable outcomes
Establish and own product-specific key results (KPIs) and reporting to measure and communicate success
Validate tactical viability using release strategies, feedback forums, and data collection techniques
Help build business cases for growth

Delivery, execution & release managemen

Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from discovery through delivery, iteration, and scale
Lead complex initiatives across multiple workstreams, aligning scope, resourcing, and timelines
Provide delivery leadership across release planning and implementation by coordinating schedules, communicating status, managing risks/issues, and ensuring quality

Cross-functional leadership, customer insights & innovation

Represent the business’s needs through defined requirements and priorities for curriculum, design, and engineering teams
Represent the needs of educators and students, building them directly into priorities through collaboration with user research, product marketing, data teams, and internal stakeholders
Build strong relationships across the curriculum and broader organisation to garner buy-in, pull workstreams together, and leverage internal expertise
Use AI and emerging technologies to accelerate DreamBox’s speed to market and customer value
Mentor and support other product managers, contributing to product practice excellence and team capability building

Learning Agility — Learn quickly in new areas (e.g., AI, analytics, K–12 constraints) and apply those insights through experimentation and iteration

Credentials and Experience:

5+ years product management (or similar) experience, with increasing scope and ownership
Demonstrated experience owning product strategy and delivering measurable business impact
Experience working in Agile / SCRUM development and leading cross-functional teams
Experience partnering with curriculum designers to build student content, particularly for grades K–8
Experience working closely with digital designers (product, UI/UX, etc.) and software engineers (front and back end)
Experience evaluating and pitching strategy, roadmaps and investment proposals to senior leadership
Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, Jira, BI tools, SQL, etc. or similar
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom

This role is designed to be hybrid/remote in the Bath, UK, office.
