About the Team: The Ads Sales Team provides best-in-class advertising solutions for large brand advertisers.  We are a rapidly growing team of high-energy individuals committed to helping our advertisers to connect with students and teachers. We provide creative ad programs, strategic data insights, and excellent customer service. Our team plays a key part in Quizlet’s success as the ad programs we develop, sell and deliver keep Quizlet free of charge for millions of users around the globe.   About the Role: We are a rapidly growing digital ad sales team. You will play a crucial role in achieving our revenue objectives. You will help execute ad sales strategies to generate direct sales revenue. You will own and drive all phases of the pre-sales lifecycle including research for impactful data for sales pitches, creating personalized pitch decks, efficient and effective media plans, and other collateral and sales communication tools.   We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in either our New York or San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. We believe this work environment enhances efficiency, fosters collaboration, and supports growth for both employees and the organization. In this role, you will::
  • Own end-to-end sales enablement and creative strategy for pre-sales, proposals, and go-to-market readiness, ensuring Sales is equipped with compelling, insight-led narratives and custom partnership ideas
  • Design big-picture, integrated custom programs and 360° partnerships from scratch to solve advertiser objectives across media, content, sponsorships, and platform moments
  • Lead ideation and strategy for high-stakes pitches, RFPs, and proposals for top-tier and strategic accounts, balancing creative ambition with revenue and delivery realities
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Sales leadership, proactively identifying opportunities to improve win rates, deal efficiency, and partnership quality
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Measurement to translate advertiser, market, and performance insights into scalable playbooks, frameworks, standards, and training that raise the bar across the sales organization
  • Set best practices for proposal development, media planning, and custom program design, ensuring consistency and quality at scale
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Ad Ops to bring new ad products, packages, and narratives to market.
  • Identify systemic gaps and inefficiencies, leading initiatives to improve tools, workflows, and processes across the sales lifecycle
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on Quizlet Ads offerings, digital advertising trends, and competitive positioning
  • What you bring to the table::
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, creative strategy, integrated marketing, digital advertising, partnerships, or agency/publisher environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to invent and lead custom, multi-platform programs or partnerships. Proven experience partnering with senior Sales, Account Management, and cross-functional leaders
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to connect advertiser goals, audience insights, and creative execution
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence shaping narratives for both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, driving initiatives from concept through execution
  • Track record of building scalable sales collateral, playbooks, and training that improve team effectiveness.
  • A mindset oriented toward challenging convention and expanding what’s possible, rather than optimizing what already exists

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $125,000 - $155,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
