Summary

Full-time hybrid Occupational Therapist role in Albert Lea, Minnesota combining in-person therapeutic services with innovative technology in K-12 educational settings. This position offers professional growth opportunities within a supportive team environment serving school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities: Provide face-to-face occupational therapy services to school-aged children, develop and lead IEPs, collaborate with school instructors and clinical mentors, and complete administrative tasks including progress reports and SOAP notes. Utilize Huddle Up's proprietary platform and technology tools to enhance clinical care while serving as a case manager.
Skills & Tools: Active OT license, proficiency with various technology platforms, experience leading IEPs, and strong collaboration skills. Ability to document evaluations and progress according to guidelines and participate effectively in team meetings.
Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of experience developing and implementing IEPs in school settings, active unrestricted OT license in state of residence, and full-time U.S. resident. Reliable transportation essential for in-person service delivery.

The on-target earnings for this role are $42-$50 an hour, as a W2 employee. Exact compensation will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, geographical location, and other qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to commit to 40 hours per week 
  • Hold an active, unrestricted, and valid OT license in your state of residence
  • Full-time resident of the United States
  • Due to the nature of this role, consistent and reliable transportation is essential to ensure punctual and dependable attendance
  • At least 6 months of experience developing, implementing, and leading an IEP for students in a school setting
  • Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
  • Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
  • Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
