Summary

Account Executive for Figma's Mid-Market segment responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets. This role involves consulting with existing and potential customers to drive meaningful relationships and business growth.

Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, work cross-functionally with Support, Design, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, and help build processes for customer-facing teams.
Skills & Tools: Value selling and strong discovery skills, ability to learn and communicate technical product features, excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Command of the Message or MEDDICC methodologies is a plus.
Qualifications: 3+ years of closing experience with customers, ideally in SaaS products, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in challenging environments. Must be agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
Location: San Francisco, CA or New York, NY, with remote work options available throughout the United States
Compensation: Estimated: $150,000 – $210,000/year (base + commission) based on mid-market Account Executive role at a high-growth SaaS unicorn in tier-1 US markets

Job Description

We are looking for an Account Executive, Mid-Market to join our dynamic team of creatives, engineers, marketers, and brilliant business folks. You aren’t the typical salesperson, and we aren’t the typical design tool company. You’ll consult with our existing customer base and potential customers in driving meaningful relationships that add value to the customer experience and revenue to our bottom line.

You won’t be alone! Figma has an incredible team and you’ll work closely with other groups including Support, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Community. You will report directly to our Mid-Market Manager.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.


What you'll do at Figma:

  • Build a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure sales effectiveness 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within accounts
  • Be part of a team dedicated to promoting Figma to existing and new customers
  • Help build the foundation and processes for all customer facing teams at Figma

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3+ years of closing experience working with customers, ideally with a SaaS product
  • Value Selling Experience and strong discovery skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a challenging environment
  • Desire to learn a technical suite of products and effectively communicate Figma’s value to potential customers
  • Excited about working in a fast-paced environment and helping improve business processes as we grow
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience with Command of the Message
  • Experience with MEDDICC
