Senior Technical Sourcer at ClassDojo will partner with hiring managers to attract top technical and non-technical talent for a mission-driven education technology company. This contract role focuses on developing sourcing strategies and scaling hiring processes while maintaining high candidate experience standards.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top talent across engineering and product teams, proactively source for both technical and non-technical roles, and own creative outreach strategies that reflect company culture. Maintain ATS data integrity, evaluate search effectiveness using data, provide white-glove candidate experience, and collaborate with the Talent team to improve processes and scale hiring.
Skills & Tools: At least 5 years of technical sourcing experience with data-driven recruitment strategies, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to source passive top talent in competitive markets. Must be self-directed, organized, and skilled at uncovering hard-to-find talent while building diverse pipelines.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of technical sourcing experience, ideally within high-growth environments. Preferred experience in consumer tech, early-stage startups, and building strong networks of technical talent.
Location: Remote from California, United States (with option to work from San Francisco office; significant overlap with Americas time zones required)
Compensation: $45 – $65/hourly

What you’ll do:

  • You will partner with hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
  • You will proactively source for both technical and non-technical roles, primarily starting with our engineering and product organizations.
  • You will own and execute on creative outreach strategies that reflect our culture and values. 
  • You will develop and execute on sourcing strategies to engage with high caliber talent
  • You will use data to evaluate the effectiveness of our searches and advise the business accordingly.
  • You will provide a high touch candidate experience from source to close
  • You will ensure a high level of data integrity with our ATS and other systems
  • You will collaborate with the broader Talent and People team to improve processes, enhance our candidate experience, and scale our hiring with quality.

ClassDojo takes a number of factors into consideration when determining final contract rates, including geographic location, experience, and skillset. Hourly rate ranges (United States):

CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT states: $50 - $65 (USD)

All other states in the US: $45 - $55 (USD)
