Summary

Lead a multi-campus financial aid department at Valencia Community College, overseeing strategic planning and operations of federal, state, and institutional aid programs while driving continuous improvement in student support services. This leadership role is an opportunity to guide meaningful change at an institution committed to student access and success.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee strategic planning and daily operations of financial aid programs across multiple campuses, ensure regulatory compliance with Title IV funds, supervise a large team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in student support services.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, expertise with Title IV funds and regulatory compliance, ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, and proven track record of driving continuous improvement in student support services.
Qualifications: Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent combination of related education and experience, plus five years of progressively responsible experience administering Title IV funds and financial aid resources with supervisory responsibilities in a regulatory environment.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience administering Title IV funds and financial aid resources and services, including supervision, in a regulatory environment.
  • This is a position of special trust and requires the individual hired to successfully undergo additional background screening.
