Summary

Student Account Representative supporting employer-sponsored student accounts through administrative services, billing monitoring, and collections management. This role ensures timely account processing and maintains organized financial records for student receivables.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor student accounts and process billing, review and input sponsored student authorization forms, generate and follow up on account-related cases, maintain file organization and database systems, post payments, and oversee student registrations and collections for past-due accounts.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), excellent organizational and customer service skills, detail-oriented and self-motivated, knowledge of accounting and collections processes, and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Qualifications: Minimum two years of college education and two years of business experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or collections; demonstrated knowledge of accounting, collections, and/or financial aid processes preferred.

Compensation: $19.50 – $29.75/hour

Job Description

This position provides valuable administrative services including monitoring student accounts and taking appropriate measures to ensure timely billing and collection of student receivables, preparing statistical reports as directed by their supervisor; and performing other general duties.

  • Reviews and inputs sponsored student authorization forms to ensure all information is complete for billing purposes
  • Generates and follows up on cases related to student account issues
  • Oversees file organization and database maintenance
  • Review sponsored students' accounts for payment status and post payments as received
  • Assists with business office operations, including student registrations
  • Collections for past-due student accounts

Education:

  • Two years of college is required

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • None required

Work Experience:

  • Two years of business experience (bookkeeping/data entry/collections)

Skills:

  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Must have strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting, collections, and/or financial aid process
  • Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
