Summary

HR Project Manager responsible for leading end-to-end planning and execution of HR technology projects at Amplify Education. This role collaborates across HR, IT, and stakeholder teams to implement systems that enhance operations and drive organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Manage HR technology projects from conception through deployment, develop project plans and budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and facilitate requirement gathering sessions. Monitor project performance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure post-implementation support and continuous improvement.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of HR processes and systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll), proficiency in project management tools, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Leadership ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and motivate cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years of project management experience, specifically with HR technology systems. Project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is preferred.

Job Description:

The HR Project Manager is the business lead responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of HR technology projects. This role involves collaborating across the HR function, IT, and other stakeholders to implement systems that enhance HR operations, improve user experience, and drive organizational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Business lead for end-to-end HR technology projects, from conception through deployment.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional HR teams to collaborate with IT and vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Serve as the main point of HR contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide status updates.
  • Work closely with vendors to manage deliverables and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to align technology initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR technology trends and recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Coordinate post-implementation support and evaluation to address any issues, gather feedback, and ensure continuous improvement with HR Technology Solutions.
  • Manage and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration, knowledge sharing, and efficient execution of project tasks.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, specifically with HR technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, such as HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

What we offer:

The gross salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
