Summary

Launch and grow Hudson Global Scholars' presence in Brazil as Director, building local operations from the ground up. This hands-on builder role combines strategic business development with day-to-day execution to drive student enrollment and establish market partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and mentor a local team, develop partnerships with schools and stakeholders, and drive student enrollment growth through pipeline management and CRM tracking. Act as the company's primary local point of contact and establish processes and systems for the Brazilian market.
Skills & Tools: Fluent in Portuguese and English with strong business development, sales, and partnership skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with proven execution, problem-solving, relationship-building, and independent work capabilities in ambiguous environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from a US institution (business, education, or related field) with 5+ years of business development, sales, or partnership experience. Proven track record managing and growing a sales team in Brazil with prior education or EdTech sector experience and people management experience required.
Location: Brazil (International)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is R$120,000 – R$180,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

We are seeking a Director – Brazil to launch and grow our presence in Brazil. This is a hands-on, builder role: you will create processes, build a local team, develop partnerships, and drive student enrollment growth from the ground up. You will act as the company’s local face, balancing strategy with day-to-day execution.


What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop existing business in Brazil

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing local team

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, parents, and other key stakeholders

  • Drive student enrollment growth through in-person and virtual engagement

  • Own pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking via CRM

  • Establish and implement processes, systems, and best practices for the Brazilian market

  • Represent the company locally, acting as the primary point of contact for partners and customers

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop expansion strategies


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a US institution required (business, education, or related field)

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships

  • Proven experience managing and growing a sales team in Brazil

  • Experience working with schools or in the education/EdTech sector

  • Prior people management experience is required

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English

  • Comfortable traveling throughout Brazil regularly

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in an ambiguous environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
