Acelero, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Policy & Performance to lead enterprise-wide policy strategy, performance systems, and compliance infrastructure across our early childhood education network. This role oversees the centralized Performance, Implementation & Impact (PII) function and ensures that policies, reporting, and data practices are accurate, reliable, scalable, and decision-useful across all markets.
This leader will drive the integration of data governance, performance reporting, and Training & Technical Assistance (TTA) to strengthen program fidelity, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes for children and families.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Acelero’s policy and performance strategy, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance across markets
- Oversee organizational data governance and reporting infrastructure, partnering with technology and cross-functional teams to strengthen tools and systems
- Direct the Training & Technical Assistance (TTA) and coaching framework to support implementation quality and continuous improvement
- Define and monitor key performance and compliance metrics, building tools that improve visibility and decision-making
- Conduct at least three annual site visits to assess implementation and support ongoing performance improvement
- Supervise and develop a high-performing team, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in education, data science, social sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in policy development and technology-driven reporting
- 3+ years of experience managing operations for a multi-site organization (early learning strongly preferred)
- 2+ years of proven supervisory/people leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 25–30% for site visits and meetings
Bonus Points if you have:
- Master’s degree in public policy or related field
- Experience in Head Start, childcare, public Pre-K, or other regulated early childhood systems
