Kiddom is looking for an experienced and passionate Product Marketing Manager with expertise in K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) and foundational reading skills to drive the marketing of our literacy products. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of product marketing experience, a strong understanding of K-12 educational needs, and a deep familiarity with literacy pedagogy and curricula. A background as an educator or a solid understanding of classroom challenges is also highly desirable.
This position is integral to ensuring the successful go-to-market strategies for our products, while supporting both new and existing customers with critical resources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Customer Success, and fellow marketers, and be responsible for shaping product messaging, developing sales enablement materials, supporting demand generation campaigns, and collaborating with our external partners’ marketing team to maintain aligned messaging. Reporting into and collaborating closely with the VP of Marketing, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Kiddom’s growing brand.
You Will...
- Develop and refine clear, compelling product positioning and messaging for Kiddom's English Language Arts (ELA) products. Ensure messaging resonates with K-12 educators by addressing their specific challenges in literacy instruction, incorporating insights into foundational reading skills, and aligning with market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Sales, to create detailed go-to-market plans for new ELA features, products, or product updates. Work closely with the VP of Marketing to ensure these plans align with broader company objectives and reflect the unique needs of literacy educators and school districts.
- Partner with Growth and Content Marketing teams to design and execute demand generation strategies specifically for our ELA products. This includes developing targeted campaigns across email, social media, webinars, and other channels to raise awareness, generate leads, and increase product adoption among literacy-focused educators.
- Work alongside the Sales team to create high-impact sales enablement materials for ELA products, including product presentations, demo samples, competitive analysis, and other tools to support district adoptions and facilitate effective sales conversations with decision-makers in the K-12 education space.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to create and execute marketing initiatives that support the ongoing implementation and adoption of Kiddom's ELA products. This includes developing enablement resources, running back-to-school campaigns, and ensuring schools and districts are equipped with the tools and support they need to successfully integrate our literacy solutions into their classrooms.
What we're looking for...
- At least 3 years of product marketing experience, ideally in the K-12 ELA space is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in K-12 English Language Arts, with a focus on foundational reading skills.
- Background in education or a deep understanding of the K-12 classroom environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, customer-centric messaging.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience with sales enablement, including training, sample development, and creation of print and digital assets
- Proficiency in using marketing tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe, Google Suite, etc.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to optimize marketing performance.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with a focus on measuring the impact of marketing campaigns and optimizing for better results.
$90,000 - $150,000 a year
Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
