Summary

Family Advocate supporting early childhood education programs by promoting children's development and engaging families in critical areas of their lives. The role focuses on fostering parent-child interactions and ensuring school readiness through research and evidence-based family engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Engage families in individualized in-home and group experiences to enhance parent-child interactions, manage enrollment and application processes, conduct outreach and recruitment activities, and maintain community partnerships. Maintain funded enrollment levels, support health-related documentation, complete data entry, and provide targeted support to vulnerable families and children with special needs.

Skills & Tools: Strong family advocacy, effective communication, and community engagement abilities. Experience in social work or family services preferred, with knowledge of family engagement principles and ability to work in diverse, low-income communities.

Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related fields preferred. Experience working with diverse, low-income communities required; background in early childhood education or Head Start programs beneficial.

Location: Remote from American Street, United States of America with up to 10% local travel required for work-related events.

Compensation: $19.00 – $23.00/hour
