Summary

Lead the development and execution of digital learning solutions for Nursing & Health Professions at Elsevier's Education division. This Product Manager role focuses on addressing customer needs, managing product lifecycle, and driving commercial success within a dynamic, talented team environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead product development across the full lifecycle with budget and profitability responsibility, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into product requirements. Present updates to stakeholders, define product KPIs/OKRs, and make data-driven product decisions while representing the product in customer-facing environments.
Skills & Tools: Strong product management expertise with proven ability to lead digital product launches and scale, combined with business and technology acumen. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, UX and testing methodology knowledge, analytical problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Generative AI is a plus.
Qualifications: Minimum 4-6 years of product management experience with a proven track record of identifying and launching product enhancements that improve customer satisfaction and commercial impact. Strong product knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to develop business cases and product plans.

About the Role

The Product Manager will lead the development and execution of product features, ensuring they address customer needs and pain points. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, prioritizing customer issues and presenting updates to stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead a specific product family throughout the product lifecycle with responsibility for budgets and profitability.
  • Familiar with modern, agile product practices.
  • Recent experience as a product manager or business analyst working on a team developing and launching digital, web-based product, preferably with a track record of scale and commercial success.
  • Effective blend of business and technology expertise and managing the product lifecycle. Represent product in customer-facing environments, engage in technical discussions with development teams and maintain understanding of new technologies, translate customer pain/needs into requirements.
  • Strong collaborator with demonstrated track record working with stakeholders across the company, particularly sales, marketing, content, and technology.
  • Experience defining product KPIs/OKRs and staying disciplined in making data-driven product decisions.
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation for UX best practices and testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Ability to learn, think creatively, and problem solve (recognizing new information, assimilating it, and applying it to new ends).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including social awareness and judgment, persuasion and negotiation, relationship building, collaboration and team building skills.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI is a plus

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 4-6 years of product management experience
  • Possess a proven track record of identifying, leading and releasing product changes or enhancements, improving customer satisfaction and commercial impact
  • Have strong product knowledge and the ability to develop related business cases and product plans
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
