Team & Position Description:
We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team! You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive culture that values learning and knowledge-sharing. You'll drive impactful digital projects and improvements by working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, sales, and product teams. This role offers the opportunity to own and shape the digital experience for a mission-driven organization, driving meaningful impact for teachers and students nationwide. You’ll have the autonomy to lead innovative website enhancements, improve user journeys, and manage a team focused on SEO, email marketing, and content creation—all while contributing to our shared mission of empowering learning by doing.
What you’ll do day to day:
- Lead and develop a two-person marketing team focused on email marketing, SEO, blog creation, and website management to increase organic traffic and lead capture and to improve lead nurturing.
- Own customer journeys and lead nurturing by managing Microsoft Dynamics CRM/CDP to enhance data-driven account-based marketing and improve lead conversion rates.
- Design and implement a lead scoring model from scratch in collaboration with field marketing, ensuring effective nurturing and prioritization of sales leads.
- Use analytics tools like Google Analytics and PowerBI to identify actionable insights, report on website and email performance, and drive data-driven marketing innovations.
- Partner with the brand marketing team to develop high-quality content for the website, blog, and email channels that align with brand goals and drive engagement.
- Enhance customer experiences by creating and improving sales support-related landing pages that impact buying decisions.
What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives):
- Develop and launch a lead-scoring test model within the first 90 days in collaboration with field marketing to prioritize and nurture leads, ensuring a 15% improvement in lead-to-opportunity conversion rates by the end of the first year.
- Increase organic website traffic by 25% within the first 12 months by leading the team’s efforts in SEO optimization, blog creation, and targeted content marketing initiatives.
- Enhance the Microsoft Dynamics CRM/CDP within the first six months by building workflows and integrations to support account-based marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the brand marketing team to deliver at least 10 high-quality content pieces quarterly across website, email, and blog channels that drive audience engagement and align with the overall marketing strategy.
- Redesign and optimize key sales support pages (e.g., funding, correlations, state campaigns) within the first six months to improve usability and increase page engagement rates by 15%.
Requirements/Ideal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Strong B2B marketing knowledge
- History of managing lead scoring and lead nurturing campaigns
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Magento Commerce or a similar website platform.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics tools to measure and optimize performance.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools to drive organic search growth.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, management, peers, and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data, determine root causes, draw actionable insights, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Compensation Range: $115,000 – 125,000 annual salary – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: years of experience, skill set or location. Total compensation includes profit sharing bonus potential, 401k matching, and a variety of other benefits (details can be found here).
