Location: This position is hybrid, requiring attendance at the Torrance office twice a week, with flexibility to work from home.
Compensation: $60000 - $65000 / Annually

General Job Description:
A Temporary Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing a company's supply chain operations. Their responsibilities typically include gathering and analyzing data on supply chain activities to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing projects to enhance efficiency, and managing relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards. They also track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management and collaborate with procurement, logistics, and IT departments to improve service delivery. To excel in this role, a Supply Chain Analyst needs strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain vendor compliance with KPIs for QBRs.
- Track and Trace all purchase orders.
- Gather and analyze data on supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Use sales and production data to forecast supply needs of commodity items.
- Monitor monthly demand plan and ensure purchase orders and work orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Follow up with vendors on terms, delivery details, and QC issues.
- Identify areas for cost savings.
- Partner with Procurement Manager to develop projects to innovate and enhance procurement efficiencies.
- Work with customer service, warehouse, and sales to ensure a streamlined procure to pay process.
- Collaborate with AP for PO three-way match.
- Book inbound logistics for all LTL/FTL shipments.
Position Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities):
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Strong computer skills (experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite a plus).
- Professional demeanor, including a positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of data analysis and pricing analytics a plus.
- 1+ years of experience with cloud based demand planning software.
