Summary

Lead operational excellence and process improvements across business operations, supply chain, and CRM functions at Benchmark Education Company. Drive strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth through best-in-class processes and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze and redesign business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement process reengineering strategies while collaborating with business and technology teams. Define KPIs, develop implementation plans, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and oversee change management initiatives to achieve operational improvements.
Skills & Tools: Process optimization, business process reengineering, change management, data analysis, KPI definition, stakeholder engagement, project management, and proficiency with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications: Minimum 4+ years of process reengineering or consulting experience with project management tools, ERP system experience, and proven ability to lead end-to-end projects from scoping to implementation. Master's degree or MBA preferred, along with Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certifications and supply chain/K-12 education industry background.

Compensation: $105,000 – $125,000/year

Job Description

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst / Manager to lead operational excellence, establishing best-in-class processes and scalable systems that support the Company’s strategic goals and continuing growth. This role will lead the analysis, contribute in solutions development and implementation of operational improvements to drive efficiencies and improve the connections to our customers and staff. Initially, this role will focus on several aspects of our business operations and customer journey, including supply chain and CRM.

The Business Operations Analyst / Manager will lead the analysis and redesign of business processes, work to develop implementation plans, and oversee their implementation throughout the organization by partnering with business and technology teams and leadership.

The Business Operations Analyst / Manager will work directly with business teams to identify, document and implement process and workflow improvements. Additionally, the [role] will work alongside the technology team to inform their development of tools and enhancements required to support the new processes and workflows defined with business teams.

Job Requirements:

•Process Optimization:

oIdentify existing business processes inefficiencies and areas of improvement

oImplement business process reengineering and change management

strategies to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce costs, and drive

growth.

oIdentify various KPIs to track for the processes for stakeholder

•Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

oWork closely with business teams to identify existing inefficiencies and pain points within existing workflows and process

oOutline the “future-state” and implementation and execution plan to achieve it

oPlan and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders around their

current process, pain points, and

oCollaborate with business and technology teams to inform and roadmap aimed at achieving business objectives and key milestones

•Cost Reduction:

oIdentify and address cost inefficiencies within business operations across multiple areas of the organization.

oDevelop and execute strategies to drive cost savings while maintaining or improving service quality and operational effectiveness.

•Data-Driven Insights:

oDefine and mature KPIs of efficiency, throughput, costs and overall health of business processes and efficiency

oIdentify requirements for additional reports and dashboards to track KPIs.

•Technology Collaboration:

oWork directly with the technology platform product management and architecture teams to translate business requirements into new tools and/or enhancements

Qualifications:

•Minimum 4+ years of re-engineering/consulting experience including use of project management and analytical tools and delivery of training Experience with ERP systems (preferably Netsuite)

•Proven experience of leading projects end-to-end, from scoping to implementation

•Experience working in consulting, change management, project management domains

•Experience working with Agile Methodologies and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

•Master’s degree in computer science or MBA preferred

•Minimum 7+ years of process reengineering/consulting experience including use of project management and analytical tools and delivery of training experience with ERP systems (Preferably Netsuite)

•Proven experience of leading projects end-to-end, from scoping to implementation

•Experience with one or more of the following SaaS platforms: Netsuite, Workday

•Six Sigma, Lean, PMP or comparable certifications preferred

•Previous Supply Chain experience and background in the K-12 education industry

•Experience working with Agile Methodologies and best practices

Salary Range: $105,000-$125,000

*The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
