The Regional Manager is a leader on the service team and is responsible for managing a dedicated team of partner success managers, who oversee our implementations, which include the setup and support of Curriculum Associates’ products. This also includes driving the annual license renewal and upsell process as well as territory growth through high-quality service and attention to educator needs. We are looking for someone who has excellent service skills, who embraces the concept of “selling through service,” and who has a strong understanding of the classroom environment. This role will report into the Associate Vice President, Partner Success for the territory. 

The impact you'll have:

  • Ensure implementations in your territory receive the best in-class educator support experience, through Implementation Planning, on-going support including data reviews and timely responsiveness to identified needs.
  • Build strong relationships through identification and cultivation of “champions” and “partners” in key districts in your territory to strengthen program implementation
  • Work with staff to review assigned accounts on a regular basis to understand usage and performance trends, and ensure the best actions are being taken to support our districts.
  • Mentor staff on how to ensure success implementations and ensure educator concerns are resolved in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate
  • Partner with Sales and Professional Development Leaders to ensure strong collaboration across the Implementation Service Teams in your territory.  
  • Ensure Partner Success Managers are successfully leading and collaborating with their Implementation Service Teams.
  • Drive forward initiatives needed to ensure strong implementations by collaborating with key staff across Curriculum Associates.
  • Plan and execute systems and strategies to ensure the team is continuously being able to best monitor and support implementations
  • Ensure your team is working well with new, prospective and existing accounts to obtain the necessary information to ensure the proper setup of accounts
  • Work across teams to support projects that will improve the Partner Success Manager role and/or our implementations.  
  • Implement renewal strategy to drive revenue through current account retention and targeting upsell and cross-sell opportunities for existing districts.
  • Drive the successful use of Ready within blended implementations

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education or Marketing/Business preferred)
  • 8 years or more experience in customer service, sales, or teaching (or a combination)
  • A combination of education and experience that proves competency in the requirements of the role 
  • Experience managing direct and indirect reports in a project management or educational environment

Preferred Requirements 

  • Master’s degree (Education or Marketing/Business preferred)
  • Previous experience as a K-12 Educator, in Education Sales, or in Customer Management
  • 10+ years or more experience in customer service, sales, or teaching (or a combination)

Travel: 10% a year

  • Plane travel; long distance 
  • Less than twice a year to Company offices only 

Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250 -118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets.

At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to receive commissions with a target percentage of *insert %* of an employee’s base salary. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
