Summary

Senior Transformation Manager at Curriculum Associates will lead complex, cross-functional transformation projects from conception through implementation, directly impacting ROI and organizational outcomes. This role is part of the new Major Projects Office and supports CA's evolution into an agile, change-fit organization.

As a key member of CA’s Major Projects Office, you'll play a key role in supporting CA’s transformation initiatives and mission to be an agile, change fit organization. The Senior Transformation Manager supports highly complex, cross-functional, and critical projects across the organization, servicing as a Transformation lead from project conception through implementation. The role directly impacts the benefit realization, value creation, ROI (return on investment), and achievement of results and outcomes for key projects across the organization.  

The Major Projects Office is a new team leading enterprise-scale programs that transform the way we do our work. Reporting into the Director, Business Transformation, you'll have an opportunity to bring your experience and expertise to bear to help shape the growth of this new function, ensuring we're ready to lead CA's most complex, innovative, and impactful projects.

The Impact You'll Have:

  • Independently collaborate with business leaders to complete early-stage project definition activities 
  • Manage overall project plans, track key milestones and detect, escalate and address transformation/integration risks by analyzing and recommending potential solutions 
  • Implement CA’s Transformation framework to lead transformation activities within key projects, including business process documentation and optimization, future-state definition, gap analysis, stakeholder analysis, etc. 
  • Track and manage governance, confidentiality commitments, and clearances for the project  
  • Support communications activities for key projects, including managing a communication plan, stakeholder engagement tracking, and change management interventions  
  • Facilitate cross-functional partnership by highlighting interdependencies and areas of collaboration, identifying synergies and downstream impacts  
  • Partner with functional leads and change leaders across the organization to develop and implement strategic recommendations to support operational excellence and business model enhancements  
  • Facilitate and participate in targeted content deep-dive sessions to enable problem-solving  
  • Serve as an expert voice leading the continual improvement of CA’s transformation and change management frameworks and approach based on project takeaways and learnings 

What We're Looking For: 

  • 8+ years of experience working in a transformation, project management, project management, and/or change management capacity for large-scale projects
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to manage cross-functional and executive-level stakeholders through complex changes 
  • Strong strategic mindset and business acumen with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Strong familiarity with transformation methodologies, including digital transformation approaches 
  • Project management experience, including familiarity with project management tools  
  • Change management experience, including familiarity with research-backed change management practices and frameworks 
  • Ability to guide executive-level decision-making, facilitating conversations, building consensus, and translating problem statements and business goals into clearly defined projects and initiatives 
  • Ability to identify and escalate risks and challenges to project and organizational leadership and recommend solutions 
  • Ability to identify and mitigate downstream or future risks in complex, sometimes ambiguous projects 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with teams, as well as influences and partners across divisions and levels of the organization  
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to a variety of audiences from project team members to Executive leaders 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing project goals, priorities, and constraints 

Benefits and Pay Range:

Pay Range – This role’s range is $93,250 - $166,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
