Internship Overview:
Achieving the Dream (ATD) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Intern to join our IT department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting IT operations within a mission-driven non-profit organization. The ideal candidate is self-starter who enjoys solving problems, engaging with users, and taking on new challenges in a collaborative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for ATD’s IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.
- Assist with data migration and data cleansing projects within Salesforce.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues using our internal ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to resolve technical concerns.
- Contribute to the development of IT documentation and knowledgebase articles.
- Conduct audits of systems and user accounts to ensure data integrity and security.
- Support expense reporting and invoice tracking processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Networking or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and cloud-based platforms, particularly Office 365.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, or helpdesk operations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual office setting.
