Position Summary  

This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting and training for both customers and internal employees. 

Responsibilities  

  • Basic troubleshooting solutions for their audio video systems or equipment and providing status updates regarding their equipment 
  • Maintaining customer information in a data base system 
  • Notify customer of receipt of equipment and provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, or replacement as necessary 
  • This includes processing DOA's (defective product upon arrival), customer credits and billing, and facilitates replacement for damaged equipment 
  • Scheduling on/off site repairs and provide administrative support as needed to the Service Technicians 
  • Responsible for maintaining parts inventory and ordering parts from the manufacturers as necessary 
  • Complete data entry of on-site service call ticket in data base. Inform customer of service call status’ 
  • Work with service centers through-out the country to schedule service appointments for audio visual equipment failure or troubleshooting 
  • Work with vendors and manufacturers for troubleshooting, replacements, repairs, DOA's, exchanges, credits, and lead time of equipment 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Education & Skill Requirements 

  • Completed HS Diploma or GED is required 
  • Experience with audio visual presentation and or IT equipment is helpful but not required 
  • This candidate must possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment 
  • Strong customer service skills via e-mail, telephone and in person are necessary 

Pay Range: $20-22/hour
