Role Snapshot
Family Advocate at Acelero supporting Head Start families in Camden, New Jersey to promote children's healthy development and school readiness through targeted engagement and community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities: Engage families through in-home and group experiences, manage enrollment and attendance, support application processes, and maintain community relationships. Conduct outreach, recruitment, attendance follow-up, and data entry related to family engagement and program operations.
Skills & Tools: Strong family advocacy and community engagement capabilities with knowledge of family engagement principles. Experience working with low-income communities and ability to provide support to vulnerable families and children with special needs.
Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred; must complete a Family Services Certificate within 18 months if not already qualified.
Location: Camden, New Jersey
Compensation: $19–$23/hr
